NOTIFICATION REGARDING ELECTION TO COLLEGE OF FORESTRY STUDENTS UNION FOR THE YEAR 2021-2022

 

                        Sub: - KAU – COF - Election to College Union 2021-22

                        Ref:- No. COF/Acad(1)3443/2019 dated 07/06/2022

It has been decided to conduct the College of Forestry Student’s union election for the year 2021-22 on 29th June 2022.  The Dean, College of Forestry has appointed Dr.M.Shaji, Assistant Professor as the Returning Officer and Dr.Manju Elizabeth P., Assistant Professor and Dr.Delphy Rocha, Assistant Professor as the Assistant Returning Officers for this purpose vide order referred above. The following posts have to the elected directly from the students of the College of Forestry.  Accordingly, it is hereby notified that the elections to the various offices of the student’s union, College of Forestry will be held as per the time table furnished hereunder.

Note:

• The Electoral Roll has been published in the Notice Board and copies are also available with the Returning Officer for reference.  Complaints, if any, should be communicated in writing to the Returning Officer or before 12. noon on 22.06.2022
• Nomination papers can be obtained from the undersigned upto 3pm on 23.06.2022
• Nomination papers will be provided based on written requests made in person.
• Nominations should be submitted in the format prescribed.
• All the particulars required in the nomination form should be correctly filled up.  Any omission/wrong entry will result in summary rejection of the nomination.
• All nominations should be properly proposed and seconded.  The candidate. Proposer and seconder should be voters to be concerned union/class.
• Any number of nominations cane be filed for a particular candidate for a post.
• The candidate, proposer or seconder should not contest, propose or second any other candidate for the same post.
• The elections are conducted by adhering recommendations of the J. M. Lyngodh Committee Report (www.ugc.ac.in) approved by Honourable Supreme Court of India.
