A herbarium having specimens of more than 400 plant species including trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers, creepers, epiphytes, parasites etc. is being maintained in the college. Live specimens along with their scanned images are preserved in the herbarium.
This facility is serving as a ready reckoner for identification and description of plants received from various centers. Facilities for computer aided identification of plant samples are also available here.
