My research to date is on taxonomy, biogeography, and niche modelling of a highly diverse and specialized group of vertebrates, especially the endangered, endemic, and least known small mammals. I use advanced monitoring techniques and software to draw meaningful results and provide scientific inputs for decision makers/protected area managers for their long-term conservation of the species and their habitats. My experience in wildlife research and education also shaped me to create awareness among various stakeholders and encourage them in community-based conservation programs.
